We bought this magical property in 2014, having fallen in love with Andalucia, with it´s beauty, it´s light, character, sunshine and it´s wonderfully friendly, happy people.

Back then, Los Almeces was somewhat run down and in need of a lot of tender loving care. Despite this, it´s peaceful energy, incredible views, fabulous quality of soil and inspiring potential called to us and we embarked upon a rather large and long journey of restoring, not only the house and cottage, but all the land and gardens too. Happily, we completed that journey in Spring of 2018 and now have a truly gorgeous place to enjoy and share with others!

We are passionate about organic farming and looking at ways to plant and care for the land in a sustainable way and we are always

enthusiastically happy, to show guests around the land and gardens, explaining about the variety of plants and all the other wonderful things there are to do and to see close by.

 

Such as the ´´Castillejo de Quintana´´, which are the ruins of a Mozarab monastery,around a thousand years old and the ´´Baño de la Reina´´, the ruin of a Roman Queen´s bath, about 2,000 years old, both just a 10 to 15 minute walk up the hill from the property. 

 

Eros, being Italian with a Sicilian Mother, passionate about cooking, has learnt some wonderful recipes from her and at request, can prepare a delicious meal for guests, using organic produce from the vegetable garden and local farms. He also worked for many years as a professional bar man, so can prepare fab cocktails to enjoy at the pool bar.

Our wish is for our guests to feel truly at home and at peace here and that their experience be one of fun, happiness and relaxion. We hope that the creativity, love and attention to detail that we have put into creating this space, will help to give guests that experience and we are always happy to help in any way we can.
